Diana

•June 20, 2008 • Leave a Comment

I got one! I bought the Diana+ ^-^ Loaded the film, took a test shot of my dogs drinking water out of their bowl (though I think I got part of my dad’s leg as he walked past ><), and looking forward to my next shot! ^_^

Haven’t progressed any further with my Dirkon pinhole camera yet today, but I will soon. I still need to buy some black velvet from a habidashery store (however you spell that word), but other than that, it’s just a matter of figuring out how to put it all together.

I forgot to buy a matchbox today, because I was keen on making a matchbox pinhole camera after making the Dirkon, (or whilst making the Dirkon for that matter), but I forgot Y.Y
No matter, some time soon I will.

The book that the Diana came with is really beautiful. In it has all these gorgeous photographs that people have taken, as well as stories about the Diana. The stories are about people and the experiences that they went through with the Diana and what memories and photographs that they have whilst owning a Diana themselves. All this Diana business is pretty full on. It’s almost like an old tradition passed down generation to generation, minus the family. Although I haven’t had much experience with the camera like all those people in the book have, I feel somewhat proud and privileged to have one as my own. Here’s a little excerpt out of the book in the Introduction to the Diana.

Don’t place it up on a mantle to collect dust, or put iin the back of a drawer, or lock it in the glove compartment, or any of that nonsense. Keep it with you at all times, and hold it close – you never know when a crucial Diana moment will arrive. And when it does, you’ve got a job to do.

Yes sir!
Hehe ^^

I am kind of expecting a lot, but that is a bad thing, because every time I get my expectations up, they come down like a ship sinking.
The purpose of photography for me is to capture those little (or maybe big) things in my life, so that I don’t forget or lose moments or memories forever. Whether or not you have captured a part of time itself with a photo or not doesn’t matter to me. What matters to me is that the moment is captured, kept, and is precious. However, unlike some, those really good moments I want to be captured really nicely or in a way that expresses or represents the mood or atmosphere at the time. From looking at the photographs of what the Diana can do, this is why I chose it. I hope that I didn’t make a stupid choice (…again).

My Own Pinhole Camera in the making!

•June 18, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Squee, alright!!! I finally decided to go ahead and make my own pinhole camera. I bought most of the materials I need, but I’m sure I’ve accidentaly left some out. I’ll sort that out when the time comes… hopefully successfully too.
I’ve followed these instructions. To be honest, they’re hardly instructions… it’s so dam hard to follow! ><” Talk about making it easier for you (not), but I’ve worked out where to cut the shapes out, and where to fold them, once all that is done, I then need to trace around them onto this thin black card, cut that out, glue the template onto that, and THEN stick it all together. I also bought 36 exposure black and white film, Illford (the good stuff hehe… well supposedly anyway xD). This cameara in total has cost me around ~30$. Not as cheap as I’d hope it to be =[ The point of it was, (besides building it and seeing what photos I could produce with it), to be an alternative to buying one from PigeonHole. It's over 100$ and I can't afford that, so I thought if I can make my own, all the better. I know that the photos taken with the paid camera would be better, however, that isn't the point of a pinhole camera (for me personally). If I make it properly, the results of this made up one should be like the ones I've seen on the Internet from people making their own pinhole cameras. *Crosses fingers.* There is a camera called "Diana," which is such an awesome looking camera (60's style cameras) and can also be made into a pinhole camera, plus surprisingly cheaper hehe. Although the film this camera uses isn't very popular, and isn't sold just anywhere, so that compensates for the price. There was also a fisheye camera at the same price... so this made it very difficult for me to pick out of the two. I actually went up to the counter with the fisheye camera, and just as I was going to pass over the cash, I changed my mind. XD... thankfully the guy at the store was really friendly and said no worries about it, but I told him I'd be back, just after I've given it some thought. I really don't know whether fisheye or the Diana! The Diana will take photos without the fisheye effect (na duh.. xD haha), whilst he fisheye obviously will. So in that respect, its a question of do I want fisheye or not. Thing is, that question shouldn't even be asked in the first place, because I like them both. The reason being, the Diana offers really beautiful effects, different colours in the photo, soft edges, haziness, as well as the pinhole feature to it. They both use different film... fisheye using your standard film, the Diana, a little more selective. You can attach a fisheye lense separately to the Diana if you wanted the fisheye effect, whilst the fisheye camera will always be a fisheye camera. I like em both!! Gaah!!... ><" The Diana is the one where I'll be spending a little extra to get the film, as the fisheye already has film in the box. Then of course, there's developing photos.. I have no idea how much that's going to cost -_-. I have a feeling it'll be more expensive now, because digital is so easy, whilst the film, although there's still access to the chemicals, I'm sure they're not in great supply or something. Might be now a 'special service' or something. Aaah... the choices. -_-.

So, either this:

Or this (minus the skin colour and the circular lense popping out at the top)

Here are some example images of the type of photos these cameras (and the rest of the cameras available on the site) can produce. *faint* (note: these example are in black & white, needless to say you can produce photos in colour too). And the Fisheye...

T^T I hate times like these where I'm so undecisive.

Here's a site I found Called "The Holga Wall." It's a site dedicated to photos taken by Holga cameras. Beautiful photos. =]

Guild Wars I say…!

PostCrossing excitement!

•June 16, 2008 • Leave a Comment

17 days ago, I joined a site called ‘Postcrossing.com”, which is a service that allows you to send & recieve postcards from anywhere in the world. I’m not too keen on sharing my address with strangers, but I figured, that’s what a lot of the world is like today. Everyone worries about losing their identity, or exposing it, ’stranger-danger’ and all of that. It’s all important, understandable, justifiable considering the world we live in today, however, I think it’s a little sad, or a shame that we don’t have much appreciation for what is in the world at the moment. I don’t think I worded that right, but basically, I want to know what’s going on in the world, I really do. Living in Perth is boring, it’s uneventful, full of wishes, but there’s no inspiration here. I feel like I shouldn’t be in this city, that there’s somewhere else out there for me. A place I can really feel a sense of belonging and a place I can call home. Perth will always be a home, only because I was born here, but I need a bigger source of inspiration for my mind.

Anyway, that was going a little bit off track. So yeah, on one of my favourite sites (Photojojo.com) there was an article in the archives that featured a site called Postcrossing.com. This looked interesting, so I read on to find that you can send and recieve postcards from people ALL over the world. I was a bit scepticle about it at first, because of the whole security thing, but just this evening I thought what the heck, just do it. So I requested an address, and I got one. Obviously I won’t share the address in the blog, but this person is from Finland! After you’ve requested, it even states how many kilometers you and that person are from each other… very cool. 8D So, I read her profile, and she’s into drawing like me! As well as crafts too. I was thinking of sending a drawing, but being frank about it, my drawings are too precious to me at the moment to give away to strangers who I don’t know well. Although there’s nothing much to it (you just get a postcard, write on it, then send it), I still feel really… I duno, I guess warm inside and excited! I don’t know this girl, but she’s two years younger than me, we’re from completely different backgrounds, and thankfully she can speak and read English (well, I guess it is the International language, but you never know), plus we have an interest in drawing, and we’ll most likely never meet, yet this postcard I’ll be sending her, is our connection… I guess. Kind of brings the world a little closer to home. In a way that’s a good thing, so you’re aware of what’s out there in this planet, but can also be a bad thing. For now though, I hope that I can enjoy the good thing about this service, rather than have to worry about the negative things.

I guess tomorrow after my assessment in the morning, it’s off to look for a postcard. =S

WIP

•June 15, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Here is a drawing a started a couple of days, and today I’ve continued it further by putting in tones and light and darks.

I hope that the photo fits onto the page. xD Btw, in case you didn’t know (I didn’t know until about a week ago), WIP stands for “work in progress.” I thought of naming her Sophie, but I’m not sure now.

I’ve drawn her from the top of my head, only used slight reference from my face, but the rest was off the top of my head (as stated in the “Me, Myself & I”).
I’m really thinking of putting a watermark on any images that I post online. There has been so much art theft it scares me. I’m an unknown artist I know, but still… that can be a bad thing as well, because artists who don’t have a name, aren’t going to have any support if anything like art theft occurred. Or just make the image ridulously small, but then you wouldn’t be able to see it. ><” Well, for now, I guess she stays as is.

So, Facebook… it’s ok so far, I still like VIRB better. Oh yeah, I made a VIRB account, and although it doesn’t have all the novelty, gimmicky kind of features that FB offers, like I care, VIRB is easier on the eye. I’ll post my main websites in my blog somewhere, been meaning to do that, more personal that way.
I wish I knew CSS/HTML better, because if I did, VIRB would outrule Facebook and MySpace put together. (If anyone reading this knows CSS/HTML and you want to social network, you’ll have fun on VIRB. Take my word for it.)
Anyway, slightly off-topic. So yeah, Facebook hasn’t changed since I last deactivated my account, and was surprised to see a couple of friends commenting on 1) profile pic 2) “My Wall.” I check PigeonHole and Short Circuit daily, but nothing new so far, but that’s all good. =]
I can’t wait to get a new Holga camera ^_^ Exciting! Hehe. I’m thinking of buying the kit as that’s got a lot of things in it, but not sure whether it’s wise to get the kit, or start off the camera and buy the accessories later in time. I’ve still got time to think about it, as I’m still saving up (almost there).

Gah… I really need a job. Can’t keep relying on allowance. Y.Y Hate working, I mean, dislike :P . If I’m going to work, I may as well find a place that I’m actually interested in, no? Even though it’s just for pocket money and saving up, I know well enough from the previous experiences that working in a place you’re not interested = Moansday, Tearsday, Wailsday, Thumpsday, Frightday & Shatterday. (Hopefully no Sunday working ^-^).

Anywho, think dinner might be ready, but if not, gona grab a bite to eat anyway (pre-dinner xD), and get on GW. Been drawing all afternoon… wew! :3

Omnia Amethyste. Better than the perfume xD

•June 14, 2008 • 1 Comment

Hehe, this is my first ranger, Omnia Amethyste, 5 months old. She’s one of my mains, although I’ve neglected her recently due to Paprika. Papirka, she really hasn’t turned out how I’d like her to have turned out. I made her so that she could be the “ideal” or “perfect” ranger you might say, but now there’s an opposite effect. Time away from Omnia, and I’m still fond of her. This was taken less than an hour ago, and it was really nice to be back on Omnia, I’ve missed playing on her. She’s really grown on me, just like my monk has (I’ll get some screenshots of my monk Tarcella Cella soon… she’s awesome! ^_^).

At the moment, she’s only got Norn armor, but I plan on getting her elite Luxon armor, which hopefully should be good. =] Get my brown dye ready! xD (And Leon, I know you’re reading this… whatever you say, brown dye will always rule! lol).

I wish I could find the time to play GW AND draw in one day + go to TAFE. Even in the holidays its hard =S Well, not these ones because it’s mid-year, and everything has to be handed in before end of semester, but still, catching up with friends. Nowadays, the days go by so quickly, its as though 24hrs in a day just isn’t enough. Gah, world going too fast sometimes.

Well… it is nearly 5:30 in the morning, and I have to finish doing my projects later today, so I really best be off to bed now. I’d love to wake up at 10, but I don’t think I’ll wake up till 2 again -_-”. *sigh* Oh well, just hopefully not 4 o_o then I’m really fucked. >_<”

I shot my ranger

•June 13, 2008 • Leave a Comment

No, really. :P

I figured, why not upload some images of my characters. ^-^ So this is my second ranger, Satoshi Kon Paprika.

I love the last one in the sense of how awesome of an accident it was! ^^ It’s like, “STOP!” hehe :3

I hate Facebook…

•June 13, 2008 • Leave a Comment

… hahaha, nah, I don’t hate, just dislike.

You see I am not only lazy, slack and carefree, but I am also stubborn. So when I look at something as common as Facebook, I think: ordinary, usual, common, not unusual, the norm etc etc… I’m a person (if you didn’t know already) who likes unique, different, unusual, not following the norm or un-ordinary, (If that’s even a word). I’m not having a go at FB as such, it’s just MySpace, Facebook & Friendster are sites that don’t really go down well with me. I find that people think I’m not there and don’t bother replying to comments, yet are able to with everyone else, and that whenever it is that I do join, no-one notices. This blog is public, so in a sense it’s like I’m telling the world this, but I don’t say that to be attention seeking, merely stating a reason why social networking sites aren’t my thing. Also, MySpace, Friendster & Facebook aren’t all that great looking in comparison to such social networking sites including VIRB, Trig, Purevolume, my.9rules, Pownce, Flickr, Threadless, Shelfari, Beautiful Society & HumbleVoice, I would personally, rather have my details, photos on those social networking sites. Yes, some of those social networking sites are specific on your interests, such as if you are into books, then Shelfari is probably best, if you’re into art (like me), graphic design, etc then HumbleVoice is probably best. If you want something quick then I guess Pownce, for photo specific, Flickr, if you’re into music, then Trig &/or Purevolume (though last.fm is also fantastic too). If you’re a designer yourself or want something that has design sense, then VIRB. Blog wise, beautiful society, or if you want to sell your own design on a shirt, then threadless (don’t quite understand this site, but it looks cool all the same).
Quite frankly, Facebook & especially MySpace don’t match up (design wise) to these sites in my personal opinion. I haven’t made an account on each and every one of them to give any more comment about them all any further. However there are some people who have commented saying that they like the look of Facebook/MySpace… but please, it’s not beautiful. It’s meant to look simple, but so is Flickr, and Flickr looks beautiful a n d simple.

Gah! Now it really sounds like I’m having a go at Facebook. Haha, ah well, this is what this personal blog is for afterall.
It also has to do with the fact that everyone is different and I like to blog, and WordPress is AWESOME to blog with. I love the design, features, blog skins and how nice it is to use. In a social networking site, you have a photo album, most likely a blog section, some even have email services (O.o), contacts, personal info, etc etc. That’s all well and good, however I don’t like organising photos into albums. I love to just chuck them all into my blog. For me it’s more interactive that way, and how my thought process is expressed out. Just who I am I guess. Also if I had friends who blog (they don’t however, which is a shame), I’d rather to see comments to a blog than on my profile page.

Bottom line: this is about me and what I like, my preference to how I spend my time on the Internet, I do not deny that (this is my blog however where I can freely express my thoughts however). I don’t like Facebook on the basis of how it looks. I don’t like Facebook because it is not unique and is common or “the norm,” because I prefer to not be common or usual (?). If I see other sites there out there that basically do the same thing, I’d rather use them or it. I prefer to blog. And of course, because none of my friends really noticed me on those sites.

I guess the whole, my-friends-never-noticed-me bit has a lot to do with me (me, me, me… gah! >_<”). I didn’t really make my presence known, however when I did, and a few of my friends DID know about my presence, they still forgot or didn’t bother. I don’t like rejection or ignorance, and I’m somewhat of a hypocrit about that, but to be fair, every individial is a hypocrit in regards to rejection and ignorance. So if I am asked to join something like a social networking site, having not been keen in the first place, but thought it’d be fun, however to not be noticed… no-one likes that feeling. However I don’t like attention. I like appreciation and acknowledgement. There is a difference between attention and appreciation/acknowledgement. They have in common the letter ‘a’, but that is all. Also, simple things like that add and make you wonder, who are your real friends, and what they really think of you as opposed to others. I am me, and that is all. I have tried changing, and makes things worse. I can only be me (whoever that is, I haven’t actually figured that out fully yet to be honest), so if “friends” do not like who I am then, ok. I would like to be told in a mature manner, but that is life and people.

Just on this whole ranting thing, I have noticed my attitude shifts a lot frequently. There are times in the day where I will not and do not give a fuck about anyone or myself, how I look, behave, or how I talk to others. There are others times in that same day where I will make sure I have a good and positive, cheery, happy attitude towards others and myself. Then I come home, turn the music up and I guess that’s the only time where I feel I really am myself. In that time, I do care about others and myself, I have a good attitude, or acceptable attitude if good is too general, and I just enjoy my time on the PC, or drawing/painting.

A N Y W A Y S ~ !

Onto something exciting (personally)… I found out that boring ol’ Perth sells Holga cameras!!! ^o^ I’M SO HAPPY!!! It’s been a good day today. :) I met up with Mandy today to spend the afternoon in the city, and it was fun just chatting, laughing and catching up as we bummed around the city. Met up with Rammond and his friends, saw AWESOME interactive dancing at the arcade (those guys, and girl have fucking brilliant skill… should be made into a sport xD… no, seriously) and of course,, HOLGA CAMERAS! I thought I had to save up big time to buy one of them babies online, but no, Perth sells them. Lots of them too! ^_^ I wish I had found that store a week ago, because I would’ve quite happily spent my money on one of them instead of the digital camera that I have now. I did say to mum that I regretted buying my digital camera, but I take that back. I don’t regret it, it’s just if I could reverse time with the knowledge of that store, I would’ve spent the money on the Holga camera. It’s 100$ cheaper, and so not only would I have had an awesome camera, but I would have also saved 100$ too. T^T No matter, I’ll just save up. I can actually buy a pinhole camera tomorrow as it’s 85$ and I have 100$ atm, but I want to be patient and not be greedy… if it is greedy at all, I duno. I’d rather wait one more week so I can get a set that includes everything, for about 80$ more. We’ll see how long my patience can hold up :P

Here are some piccies of what they look like if you’re not sure what the hell I’m on about. ^-^ Ah just looking at them makes me want them more and more. Y.Y

There are more images of them and accessories if you go the website.

Anyways, I’m off to level up my new assassin. Her name is Taka (after Taka from The Last Samurai, I find it to be a beautiful name, though I don’t know the meaning behind it) Ohgo (some random Japanese last name I found from some actor. I like the sound of it, and it kind of fitted, so what the hell, had to pick something). I don’t normally do this, though I should, but here’s a screenshot of her. Her armor isn’t that great at the moment, she’s only about a day old and only just got to Kaineng and about to go to GW:EN, so yeah, she doesn’t have access to great armor atm. Y.Y

Yeah, she’s still in the beginning stages as you can see xD She’ll get there eventually… Asuran armor ftw! (First armor set that I’m going for ;])

Anywho, I’m going to go play her… that sounded perverted and wrong, no pun intended, honest ><

Life continues as always

It’s the middle of the week and it so happens to also be assessment week. I’ve been really slack xD and it’s showing, but hey I’m still passing (so far) so that’s the good thing :)
Tomorrow is my day off (finally..!) and so tonight I’m just going to procrastinate, surf the net and play Guild Wars :3 (thought I SHOULD be doing a painting and finishing off this drawing >.> but I never said anything hehe).

J. River Media Jukebox is awesome for an alternative to Windows Media Player or iTunes. I don’t like using iTunes on my PC (cos on my old PC it was slow, and on this new one, I want something different), and J River is compatible with iPods anyway, so it’s all good. Also something was wrong with Window Media Players codec (I think), but this plays my songs clearly, so yipee! :3

This blog post is probably going to be my most boring post yet (… or so I percieve).

My day was ok, nothing eventful happened really, but I’m alive, and sitting at my PC listening to music and on the Internet + in the morning I did some drawing… so basically it wasn’t a bad day at all. :)
Got most of my paintings assessed, I just need to do one more for next week and then painting is  d o n e !  Printing = done, drawing = done just needs to be assessed, ceramics = done just needs to be assessed, history = done, theory = still need to hand in essay, but done otherwise and sculpture = to be completed xD
So really, I’ll get everything done in time.

I really feel like making another Guild Wars movie. It was pretty fun and I enjoyed watching the moving images come to life with the music (gota lurv the tunes). I’ve got some tracks that I’m listening to now that would just look awesome with some in-game clips. What I’d REALLY love to do is a still shot movie. That would be awesome AND no-one has done it before ^-^ However, there’s probably a reason… to do so would be SO much more time than creating a movie because your screenshots would have to be the same size, no in-game interface (personal preference), and capture continuous movement with still images. In-game you don’t have that much flexiblity in terms of camera angles, so that makes it a little harder. So basically, in conclusion, to get on with the game and enjoy it, movies are better, and faster… more economical? Or I think practical is the word.

I can’t wait until I get to play Assassin’s Creed! ^_^ I’m SO going to make a movie of that! >=D All that beautiful scenery and the assassin’s incredible and somewhat acrobatic attack movements = awesome to film. :3

There’s not much I really can say, just I wanted to blog and write stuff.

Peace

Film, Photos, Slides, Memories

•June 8, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Seems like it has been quite some time since my last post. It’s not that I haven’t been super busy as such, just done other things and either forgot to blog or most of the time had nothing much to say.

However, since being away from blogging for a bit, I’ve got lots to blog about. So exciting!
First off, I found a REALLY awesome site called Animoto. It’s great if you’ve got photos or images that you want to put together in a slideshow. However slideshows are boring and all the same, but Animoto makes your photos in an awesome slideshow that has music video elements to it. The site is made by real film developers and other producers of the sort (hope I got that right) and I’ve made two so far. The first one was kind of like an experiment to see whether or not I was doing it correctly, but I was, and it turned out really well personally. The second one was a number of guild wars screenshots that I took randomly, and decided to chuck them together to see how’d they turn out, and it was awesome! I really recommend that you sign up and use the site, it’s fun to see the end result. Although you’re not the one who makes the final product (your just selecting what images you want and music, the site puts it together), it is really nice to see how the images corrolate together with the music. It’s amazingly well done for something that is automatic. ^-^
Here are my two videos on my YouTube site:

Like I said, it’s not me who does all the effects and everything, but still, if you have some photos that bring you happiness and memories, get a song that means something to you, go to this site, upload it all and you’ll end up with a really meaningful slidshow. =]

I wish I had the money to afford nice video editing software. I don’t want to crack the software because I’ve had enough with viruses, spyware, malware and all that other crap. Also, if I did, any films I would’ve made in the cracked video editing software… would it really be mine? For me it wouldn’t feel as though it was mine, and I hate the feeling, I really hate it. To me, if I made a short little film thing, regardless of how amateur it looks, for me it’s like an expression of me and something I make with my own brain, and I’d want it done legitimately. That’s just my take on it anyway, I don’t care what anyone else says. Windows Movie Maker will have to suffice for now hehe.

This kind of brings me to my next little site of interest and that is a site called Jumpcut. It’s an online video editing service, where you upload your videos and edit it them through this site. I’m yet to use it, but from what I’ve heard, it ranks as one of the best, if not the best online video editing resource out there. There are others, but this does look the part if you ask me. However, most good things are too good to be true from my experience, and unfortunately this site is not exception. Apparently you can’t export your videos to other sites such as YouTube, so I just gathered that you couldn’t share them. =[ Suckage.

By the way, both of the above sites mentioned are still in BETA, but that doesn't really make much of a difference anyhow.

EDIT: I'm having a go at using Jumpcut by uploading a Guild Wars clip taken yesterday. My Internet is so slow its not funny -___- I should stop complaining about slow Internet and be thankful I have the Internet. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. xD Aahh, I'm lame like that.

Right, well another awesome site I found is called Jamendo. This site is awesome because you can download music for free...... legally. Yes! Legally. The reason is because of the Creative Commons licence and it says right there on the site that music artists choose to put there music on the site (their own choice) to be shared and downloaded free. The idea is that by doing so, it gets there name, album(s), song(s) and what kind of music they do, out there in the world. You can also support the artists (haven't done that yet, but I think it's where you donate money, not sure though), and I only skim read the "How It Works" section, but apparently artists get paid as well. You'll have to look more into it, but hey, if you're a music artist yourself and you happen to be reading this, look into Jamendo, and/or Last.fm.

I've already downloaded 8 songs so far, and these artists could really go places. Actually you know what, I'll spread the word out about them.

Roger Subirana

There, please visit their sites, these are only two of the many great artists out there!

Onto something other than recommending sites that I've discovered, I've been recently mildly obsessed with getting a camcorder. I've wanted one for about a week now, and I'm not sure whether it's a one off wanting thing, or whether I really do want it. I know I need a camera to take photos of my artwork, not just to put in my deviantART gallery, but also for the process of making my artworks. It really helps. Plus, I want to film a bit. I'm no pro, but moving imagery can be beautiful to watch and listen, and the fact that it's not a stand-still like a drawing/painting, it allows for a different feel, which I really want to explore. You can record things so accurately and really emphasise things which I probably don't do with my drawings and paintings. My drawings and paintings are my thoughts, heart & soul expressed in an entirely different way to how I'd do so with film and/or photo. That is why, I want to explore those possibilities. Problem is... the price -__-" I'll get there,, hopefully. =]
On photos/film, there’s a great site called Photojojo, which is a must-bookmark-and-visit-regularly-site to go to if you have a camera (regardless of whether it’s digital/film). It’s a site that sends you a newsletter via your inbox enlightning you with tips for your camera, suggestions for photo-taking, photo/camera related products to enhance your photos in print and just a whole lot of other stuff. Even if you don’t have a digital camera (such as moi), the site still offers so much to you, and with me, makes me want a camera more and more! >.<”

UPDATE —> Jumpcut. I suggest using the HTML upload, rather than the flash, unless you trust your Internet that is. I tried uploading ~4 times with the flash upload and it wasn’t successful, but tried the HTML upload once, and worked fine. Of course since it’s a video, uploading might take a few minutes give or take.

Anyway, I’m going to go and browse s’more music on Jamendo ;P

Oh, one last thing, I found out how to watch dA films. Yes, I’m slow, and I’m waiting for one called, “Who’s In Charge?” to buff so I can watch it. ^_^ The preview image looks really good, and it got a DD, so I’m assuming it is really good.

End.

Almost done + Vlogging?!

*sigh* The week is almost over… f i n a l l y !
I’m so happy that my art history essay has been finished, and so that just needs printing out. Woot! I don’t expect great marks because I didn’t put as good an effort as I could have, but to be honest, I don’t care all that much, as long as I get it in, that’s all that matters to me (I’ll deal with the results when they come). I’m taking one step at a time, and essay is one step I’ve taken my foot off from, the next is doing these occupational health and safety quizzes, which might I add are a HUGE nuisance, and somewhat pointless. Completed one, I just need to do four more. Quizzes may not sound like much, and if I had the time, it’s not. However I’ve forgotten about it completely (over two terms I might add) so now I’ve only got about three days to get it in, and that is not a lot of time, because these good for nothing quizzes take a long time to finish -_- (unless you know the answers 100%… which I don’t so I have keep re-doing them till I get 100% Y.Y)

Anyway, enough about projects/assignments/quizzes, I’ve put up some vlogs on my YouTube account. I’ve had that YouTube account for goodness knows long long (since Jan last year I think), but I’ve never really put much use to it. I did make Guild Wars movies a while back, but I deleted them and just ended up having one slideshow on ‘My Videos’ section, which didn’t look all that great. So I thought I’d just upload some random and quite arbitrary vids showing my day and all that. I noticed that a lot of people’s vlogs are really cool and they can talk about anything, and although I don’t know the person.. I find it interesting. I don’t know why, I guess it’s just because I’m curious about what it is they have to say that they’d post it on their account. I liked the idea of vlogging, so thought I’d give a shot at it, and I did, and so I posted one just yesterday. My microphone still needs some alterations to it (the one of the webcam) to get it to hear my voice better, so instead I’m putting music in my vlogs. Thing is, I’m really liking the effect that has, with me now speaking and instead, I guess it’s like the lyrics are speaking for me. =] Who knows if I’ll speak out, but for now, I like the randomness of my vlogs… I guess that’s what’s my head xD (if that made any sense at all,, probably not).

I’m making another vlog now whilst I’m writing this actually, and I’m loving it more than the first one. ^-^ Got really nice black and whites, almost like a charcoal drawing… lurrrv charcoal hehe =3 It reminds me of the video from a horror movie, which is kind of scary, as I don’t like horror movies anymore. *shudder* Oh well, least I know made it hehe :3

I still like to blog though, I like to write my thoughts, but visualising my thoughts other than drawings and/or paintings, but through these little movies… its kinda fun =]

Here’s the first one that I made…

Peace
